How Zoom Teeth Whitening Works
Clean
For best results, we recommend you get your teeth professionally cleaned by our dental hygienist before your Zoom teeth whitening treatment. That way, we can remove all the plaque and tartar so your teeth whiten evenly.
Whiten
To whiten your teeth, first we apply a hydrogen peroxide gel. Next, a UV light breaks down the gel enabling oxygen to enter the enamel and dentin of your teeth. The oxygen bleaches your teeth and whitens your smile. During this 45 minute procedure, you get to just relax.
Maintain
Now that your teeth are sparkly white, you want to keep them that way! For at least 24 hours, stay away from foods and drinks that may stain your teeth (e.g., red pasta sauces, berries, wine, coffee, tea, dark soda, etc.). We’ll also give you a take-home whitening kit so you can touch up your teeth as needed.
